Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Breast 🍗✨

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg (for coating)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the basket.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Set Up Breading Station:
    • In one bowl, whisk the egg.
    • In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then press into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Air Fry:
    • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 6–8 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Rest & Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with a side salad, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.
