Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Breast 🍗✨
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg (for coating)
Instructions:
- Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the basket.
- Prepare the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and brush both sides with olive oil.
- Set Up Breading Station:
- In one bowl, whisk the egg.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then press into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- Air Fry:
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 6–8 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest & Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with a side salad, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.
