Air-Fried Crumbed Fish

Ingredients:

  • 2 fillets white fish (cod, tilapia, haddock, or any firm fish)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crispiness)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Coating: In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the Fish: Dip each fish fillet into the beaten egg, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange in Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the fish fillets in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  5. Cook: Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve: Enjoy with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or a side of salad and fries.
